Our History: In November 2001, Axxcelera, an Axxcss Wireless Solutions company, purchased the fixed broadband wireless product line of Adaptive Broadband, a pioneering provider of fixed broadband wireless solutions. Axxcelera then introduced the highly cost efficient AB-Full Access point-to-point product for applications involving high-throughput over long distances.
Over the first decade of 2000s, Axxcelera emerged as a leader in the development of WiMAX base stations and CPEs through the AB-MAX (5GHz) and ExcelMAX (3.5GHz) product families.
From 2009 to 2017 Axxcelera developed AxxeLTE, a complete portfolio of 4G LTE products from the LTE base station (eNodeB) to the outdoor User Equipment (UE) to the Evolved Packet Core (EPC). Axxcelera has the distinction of being among the handful companies in the world to have developed the complete 4G LTE solution and technology IP in-house. Axxcelera also developed and demonstrated market-leading innovations including 2X to 4X higher uplink aggregate data rates via its novel uplink multiuser MIMO (UL MU-MIMO) technology.
Axxcelera now: With technology development centers located in Santa Barbara, California, USA and Cairo, Egypt, Axxcelera is now focused on powering the ongoing 5G revolution with its rich portfolio of technology intellectual property (IP) and hardware/software platforms. Axxcelera’s proprietary 4×4 line of sight MIMO technology is capable of enabling up to 4X higher spectral efficiencies and multi-gigabit data rates. Axxcelera’s technology is part of Axxcss’ market-leading 5G product portfolio offered via sister companies BridgeWave and E-Band.
